LEAH is the Director of Red Orchid Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and is a fully qualified Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Massage Therapist and is a member of the AACMA (Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Association).
Leah has been practicing TCM for over 10 years and has trained for 3 years alongside an esteemed practitioner in Sydney. Leah previously worked at the Acupuncture IVF Support Clinic and currently practices at Shire Natural Fertility (burraneerwellness.com.au, shirenaturalfertility.com.au) in Sydney and has an established and successful practice on the south coast, in Nowra.
Leah completed a Bachelor’s Degree of Applied Science in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) at the University of Western Sydney (UWS) and an Advanced Diploma in Tuina (Chinese Remedial Massage) at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine (SITCM). Leah completed a hospital internship at Jiangsu provincial hospital in Nanjing, China where she was inspired with the integration of TCM with Western Medicine and her current practice aims at supporting the combination of both medical systems.
In China, Leah’s specialty training of Herbal Medicine was in the Oncology and Gynecology departments and in the acupuncture department she was involved in treating insomnia, depression, weight loss, paediatric conditions, musculoskeletal conditions and paralysis. Leah’s currently specialises in Women’s Health and in particular, fertility and IVF support. Leah has also trained for four years in Creativity Counselling and Psychotherapy

Tanya McMahon has been practicing Complementary Therapies for 12 years and in 1999 was the Editor of a nationally circulated monthly health magazine. Tanya has a Diploma in Bodywork Therapy, Aromatherapy, Advanced Massage and Sports Injuries and an Advanced Diploma of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. Tanya graduated with the Sun Ten award for Study Excellence. Tanya is interested in the areas of digestive disorders, stress and emotional imbalances, musculo-skeletal injuries, women’s health and facial rejuvenation.

Anissa is an Acupuncturist, Herbalist and Massage Therapist, and is accredited with the Australian Traditional Medicine Society (ATMS). Anissa has always had a keen interested in various forms of energy and breath exercises and her special interests are in emotional and spiritual health, women's issues, and paediatrics. Anissa is passionate about fresh organic whole foods, healthy cooking, Daosist Qigong and Tai Chi exercises, mind training and observation.
Both Tanya and Anissa have studied at the Sydney Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed their practicum at the Jianxi Provincial Hospital in Nan Chang, China.
